If the truck ain't broke, leave it alone. It probably does the job of getting you around. Invest in an emergency savings first...for that day the truck stops getting you around. Then start a Roth IRA. If you're young and you regulary contribute 10% of your net pay, you could easily have a cool million by the time you'd retire...or even retire early.

Excellent advice. EVERYONE needs at least 3 months of expenses in a Savings account. Or better yet 3 months of income.
I'm 22 at the moment and with MAX contributions to my ROTH, I'll be living the easy life well before I'm 60. Definitly the way to go!
