Pennsylvania pressed glass?
They are just a manfacturer of glass and other things.(paint/etc)

PPG originally stood for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. I think they changed to PPG industries in the 60's.

PPG makes quality automotive glass but they are more known for their paint lines and yes,their quality is worth the extra money.

I carry a kit in my car and have used 3 of them in the past, for many cracks. Like mentioned, it will get rid of most of the damage. The first time I used one, I had about a 75% sucess rate, but since then, I've gotten better and can eliminate about 95%. You can save the unused portion, I've done 3 chips with the same kit.
