I got 32'd today !!!

Finally,

Got my 32's (265/75/16) Dueller A/T "Revo" fitted today.

Man do they look sharp and they really make the lift look a lot better. Road noise is about the same as the Dueller A/T although the ride around town is a little harsher.

I am going to back the tires down to 32 psi (from 39 !) tonight which should help.

In short, I am really pleased with my decision, they look VERY agressive for an A/T and really fill the fenders.

Pics to follow later in the week,

David

Jalaber,

You know are rigs are very similar. Don't leave the garage door open or your 99 will run on down to the tire place by itself and come back with 32's. Its 'jade' with envy

BTW, These Revo's look very sharp...they will get a mild workout on the beach next week.

So true...No lift is required to fit 265/75/16, right? Only problem is that I only have 18k on the odometer and new shoes aint gonna fly with the wife, especially when her car really needs new tires!......Anyone wanna buy 18k used dunlops in stock size...hahaha

Yeah, they'll fit w/o lift just fine. That's the size I have on my stock beastie.

Similiar problem for me... I just bought the truck, and the previous owner had just put on new feet. Not the A/T's I want, but I can't make myself toss brand new tires.

Oh well, a little more off-roading on em, and they'll be trashed enough to replace!

I do not believe it !

I washed my truck last night ready for a 'sexy glamor shot' photo shoot with its new shoes and its freakin raining

3 month drought, water restrictions and I cannot see the truck through the sheets of water.

I may snap off a couple lunchtime if it stops

Jalaber,

I had 32's (265/75/16) on my 96 and had no problems. However, I never fully flexed the front of that one and certainly did not disconnect the front sway bar.

BTW, the best thing you can ever do for your truck is to wear out the Dunlops. I am assuming you have Grandtrek TG35's , right ?

Had em on my 96, wore em out in 20k Turns out Dunlop have Grandtrek and Grandtrek TG35. The TG35 has no treadware warranty and is designed , and I quote "To give a quiet, smooth ride on the test drive" :pat:

The really bad thing is that they were pretty much shot after 15k as they aquaplaned really badly. When I bought the 99, the switched out the rims from a 99 LTD on the lot so I got Wrangler RT/S in place of Grandtrek TG35.
