I busted this boot... how long can I go??

I busted this boot yesterday cranking up my stupid coilover on the pass side. Should it be ok and if not, can I replace just the boot??? Any help would be great.

That would be your balljoint if I'm seeing what you circled right. They're cheap to replace, so you probably should do it.

Your correct. Sorry but do you mean the boot or whole joint? Also, if I replace just the boot, will I have to take the joint apart?? Thanks

Upper ball joint boot, seperate the ball joint and upper control arm...it could be a biotch to do. The new boots come with grease and some kind of retaining ring. I ditched the ring and used safty wire. The passenger side is holding fine but the driver side lost some of the grease but its not making noise.

Be careful when going to the dealer because the dealer will tell you you have to get a new ball joint...they dont sell the boots by themselfs. One call to trdparts4u solved that issue.

Hope this helps.

Great Arb. I'll give them a shout. I'm guessing the best way to separate it is with a compressor and separator right?
