How to remove a cupholder on 98

A plastic piece broke off my cupholder and I am going to super glue it on. Any ideas on where to start with removing this cupholder. Its on a 1998 4runner.

It was actually the front. The little piece the agles down broke off that stopped the cupholder from expanding.

I figured it was the rear because those little pieces that expand out will snap in a brisk wind, let alone normal use.
.....and they are like $100+ to replace!

Did you follow this already?
Once you get the trim off the cupholder part is a no brainer.

A quick yank out and slightly down will pop it out of its slide. Try it at the junkyard before you pull yours.

ah, disregard the advice above.

slide the cupholder forward until it reaches it's limit. press the two tabs (circled) downwards and lift the center part upwards. this will allow you to push the cupholder out. see attached image
