I'm parting out my 4runner and It has a 3.4l v6 with 222k miles. Engine runs strong and doesn't skip a beat. Just wondering how much should I sell it for.

Generally junk yard engines are going for around $500-$1200 depending on mileage and location.

 

I sell my 3.4's for $800, $1000, and $1200 depending on miles. 222k is high miles, so I would say $800 is fair.

If you are selling complete with harness, ECU, and all acessories/exhaust, I would add $200. Just trying to source the parts separate would cost the buyer well over $200

 

$1200+ where i live. and that's having high miles. i'd had to see the price for a 50k engine!
