How much did your OME's settle?

I talked to Dave from Cornfed today and he told me my new OME 881's which is advertised to give 2"-2.5" of lift would eventually settle and sag about an inch(I don't have a TJM bumper), thus giving me only about 1.5" over time. Is this true? I hope I didn't waste my money 'cuz I've got 1.5" Cronfeds up front now and I'm getting the 881's installed soon. For all Yotatechers w/ front OME's, how much settling did you get?

I had the 881's on mine for about 8 months and they did settle a little and I was looking at getting a 1 1/2" cornfed spacer to level up the front with the back 891's.... However I just got a new winch bumper and winch installed and went with the 882's From what I understand the OME's 881's are only listed on the spec sheet to give 1.5 to 1.75" of lift thus still needing to have a spacer on top.....I hope this helps. If you have not bought your springs yet I have the 881's in the garage that I just took off 4 weeks ago for sale. Doug

hhog4dc...I got my 881's last week I've got 891's in the rear. Right now, I've got the 'ol hot rod look. I was looking to level out my truck. Would the 881's and a 1" spacer be too much for my CV's to handle?

I've got 881's up front with a TJM and no winch. 890's in the rear. Mine have been on for only a few weeks (if that) and they are down (maybe) 1/16", the rears a little more than the fronts. I tried to take the measurements with a full tank each time and on the same level spot. I sure would not mind if they did not settle at all. I still have some weight to add to my '00 in the form of Stubbs sliders and a Sonoran rear bumper though.
