I've put a few thousand into my 4runner. 3 or 4 maybe.

$9450 in Feb. 2003. Since then i've put maybe $3000 into it, but sold most if it to get back to stock.

I paid $6000 for my 96 SR5 4X4 in 2004. It had 143,000 mile on it. Since then I've put about about $1500 in it for sliders, wheels and tires.

I paid $10K for my 96' w 110K on it in 2001. So far I have lost count on how much I have spent. Probably 9K on mods and $400 on parts that have actually broke or gone bad - Battery, starter rebuild, power steering rebuild, thermostat, Front axles, misc little things.

10k for mine since a local dealership had a "misprint in the ad." The sticker on mine said 14k but my mom working for lawyers knew how to take advantage of this situation and threatened false advertisement. So I bought mine for a little over 10k after taxes and title.

Paid $4,200 for my '87 in 2003. I've put another $4k into it giving me a total cost of $8,200 for a vehicle with a brand new motor. . I guess the paint looked a little better 2 years ago though.

I paid $2400 for my '90 about 4 years ago. I spent just under $1000 in parts so far and about $550 for the rims and tires. It does need some brake work and some minor tranny work, but It has been a great truck so far. Might get it painted soon too.

Well, have fun all.
Daniel
