How much could I ask for my little pickup?

Well, I am afraid the time has come that I must move on. My wife and I are
trying to have a baby, and due to circumstances out of our control, we cannot
conceive naturallly. We must, therefore, pay a doctor an unGodly amount of
money to try and make this miracle happen.

So, the little truck must go. It wouldn't be helpful to have with a baby anyway.
(Heh... you saw the singular term there? Yeah right, I know my luck. We will
have 3 or 4) I would like to sell it to someone who would enjoy it as much as
I have, and keep it here in the good ole US.

I have had at least 4 people stop, knock on my door and ask if it was for sale.
This has occured over the last few years. They take them down to Mexico I
guess, so I don't really know how much they would actually pay for it.

Anyway, she has 167,000 miles.
New timing chain
Regular oil changes
New exhaust
New brakes
Master cylinder (clutch and brakes)
New tail lights
Bucket seats
Roll bar
16" aluminum wheels
32" tires in great shape
Air conditioner
sliding rear window
Nice CD player with 2 amps, and an 8" sub

Runs and drives better than any truck that old should. Give me some ideas
about where I should start.

Here is a photo. Having trouble locating my interior shots and stuff.

Good luck with the kid(s). As for your truck try...www.kbb.com for the Kelly Blue Book values. I used to have an '88-bought it at a dealer for 2000 and change....was ugly compared to yours (had a flatbed...typical NE rust). Good luck!

I'd start around $3,000 and go from there. I know if I needed another ride, I'd buy it for 3k.

Good luck.

Thanks guys. That gives me a nice starting point. Man, I kinda feel all funny. I get too
emotionally attached to vehicles. Of course, I may have to post up some before and
afters if I can ever find them to show you just how much time and effort I have
actually spent on this thing. I think they are all on my work computer.
