Not sure about the last year, but I pulled a carfax on my 90 before I traded it in on monday, and found that I put 28k on it in the 4+ years I owned it.

Speedo Cable no Workie... So I don't know. ALLOT

It was funny the last time I got pulled over by a cop and he said "Son.... do you know how fast you were going...." I said "hymmmm... somewhere between 2500 rpms and 3000."

Hey let me off after checking out my truck. Says he had a jeep that he wheels with too.

First nice cop I met.

High mileage driving is one of the main reasons why I buy Toyotas. Every domestic vehicle I ever owned (5 or more) wasn't worth much more than scrap after about 100k miles (yeah, I know... there are exceptions).

but not too many of them. i mean, a friend of the family bought a jeep grand cherokee and a cadillac sts. both were dead by 100K.

the cherokee leaked some sort of fluid just about every 500 miles or so. he finally gave up on it and sold the JGC which he paid over 32K for to a teenager for just over a grand.

the sts had an overheating problem, then the AC died, then two things went wrong with the engine (i think the fan may have died)... and he finally gave up around 90K miles. he currently has a Lexus RX330...

he takes excellent care of his vehicles too.

Maybe us High-Mileager's should throw a party for our trucks when they hit 200k, then 300k?!??!!!!!

Correction: 178k now.
