Not enough info is available to answer this question:
What grade hill?
How long is the hill?
How fast were you going at bottom of hill?
What size tires?
What condition is the engine in?
In Drive or OD?

Sorry....only thing you can really do is turn the O/D off. You can do some bolt on stuff, but the performance gains seem to be minimal and not worth the money IMHO. Pretty much why I'm staying stock(power wise) until something breaks or what ever.

If you have a manual trany you might just have to think ahead more. Get some speed at the bottome and maintaina high RPM as you go up. That's how I get seed out of my 4banger.

I find if you get people to shift their weight forward quickly, together, it may go faster if you have a tailwind and you've recently washed the 'Runner.
Or if you want a serious solution, just plan ahead, get more speed downhill and make sure you keep your RPM's high.

That's just what we have to live with unless modifications are made. Going up the summit east of here (7% grade I think) the most I can do is about 55 with ECT on PWR, OD off and the engine screaming. It gets pretty scary sometimes since the limit is 75 up that hill and everyone is flying past you.
