how to deactivate "maint" light

i read in the manual that the maint light means the car requires an oil change. I had it changed about 6 weeks ago, is there any way to deactivate the light or somehow reset it? thanks. by the way its an 04 V8.

The procedure for resetting the light is in the manual too.

In the 03 owners manual the instructions for resetting the light are on pages 120 and 121.
