How to clean the under carriage of the vehicle?
Hi, yall, Ilike to know what do you guys use to clean the under carriage of your prized possession? Do you use acids (what kind?), or do you give it a good ol' brush down? Tell me.
Thanks
Thanks

I use a pressure sprayer also, either at home or the car wash. I crawl under first to see where all the caked on crap is. There is a lot of little hiding places. After the undercarriage dries I'll spray it down with touchless tire foam. This leaves a nice finish that makes it look like new. It keeps more stuff from sticking to the underside for longer also. This is something I do before a big snow. The snow that usually builds up on the bottom and wheel wells falls off much easier.

Well, last night I brought mine into my firehall and blasted everything with a hot water power washer. Just in time for all the snow we got today. Couldn't believe the gunk that came off...we use TONS of salt up here. I try to do that a few times in the winter. Come summer I plan on getting underneath and wire brushing the caked on stuff, and then rubberized undercoating the whole works!
