How to change power lock setting in Gen-4?

I have been trying to change the power lock setting for my 2004 4Runner (SE). I followed the step-by-step instructions as described in 'owners manual' to change from factory default (lock all doors when gear shifted out of parking) to lock doors only when it reaches certain speed, I think it is 15 mph. It doesn't work for me.
Does someone happenly know right procedure to do so?
Also, I would appreciate if there is a procedure for changing 'unlock' setting.

Thanks.

Got it work!!

I retried this afternoon. Thanks to great weather here.
Finally, it works.
I have set the auto lock to when it reaches speed of 12mph, all doors will loc.
All doors will unlock automatically as soon as shift moves back to parking.

Advice,
Don't change factory default auto lock setting if you feel it is not safe in your neighborhood.
