How can I increase power/performance on 94 4Runner?

I have a 1994 4Runner with 120,000 miles - it has been running great with the exception of the temp increase today which I've already asked about. I did install a K/N air filter. I cannot believe it only has ~140 hp stock - I have 32 x 11.5 tires & noticed a power decrease with these, but like them anyway.

What can I do to increase power without spending a fortune? Of note, I'll be driving ~50-60 miles to work each way daily - any mods that I should do to make this drive easier on my 4runner? Thanks for any help.

... get hypnotized and have the guy tell you to believe that your runner is a race truck?

Maybe he means at the wheels ...but that might still be generous

Intake, headers, exhaust. That will help, but gearing will help the most.

I've done the ISR mod with a K&N, Cat-back exhaust and electric fan. The Catback helped tremendously. The second best mod was the ISR mod. I drove a stock one the other day and mine had way more power even with 33's. I cant wait to get my 4.88's in then it should go pretty good. I don't mind my 3.0 at all around town it's pulling my trailer here in the NorthWest that it shows it bad side.
