Hey Ace - So I have a quick update and new issue of course..I put in the walbro 190/ and 305 injectors with new gaskets and intake gaskets as well. I also checked for boost leaks when I had everything back together. Did find a couple and fixed them. Seems to be running well and I started tuning it. My wideband crapped out on the display (damn CL purchases) so I sent it of to PLX to see if they can fix it. So the new issue I have is that at idle the runner is now vibrating slightly. Not huge like my teeth falling out but its there and noticable. Didn't happen before I installed the injectors. Even though I checked all the injectors out, both for proper operation and voltage, I am thinking i have one that is not functioning properly. Or is this indicative of something still out of tune? Just wanted to get your thoughts. Other than this the car is running much better and with my tunning thus far I think it is no longer lean at all in fact i have to keep adjusting to pull more fuel out. Thanks for all your help thus far.

What are the AFR's at idle? Are you changing the timing at all at idle?

It sounds like a tuning issue if mechanically everything is fine.

Well my wideband crapped out on me so I am not sure but I did notice that my timing advance bumps up when it feels like the vibration happens. Usually the advance is around 9 to 10 but it will get all the way up to 15 just idiling. With FTC installed I zeroed out map b so nothing should be adjusted on the timing. It is the "E" version but I don't think it should be impacting at idle. I did pull down the timing cover and inspected my belt and it was really strange. The CAMs and crank were all lined up but the white marks, which were originally aligned had moved like nearly 90 deg arc on the cams. So I couldnt tell if the belt had "skipped" a tooth. I have no idea how that could even happen and still be running unless the tensioner was not fully seated when I started it the first time after installing it and then seated up right away and has been locked in that location. I really want to redo the timing belt in my opinion but didn't touch it because it is a major PIA and seemed to run ok.. I guess if that is jacked then it would explain my hesitation issue which by the way is still present.. I wanna figure this out but don't want to throw a ton of money at replacing things. However a few things here and there beats rebuilding the whole thing. What do you think Ace - Tear it down right away and realign the belt up.. Seems like a no brainer huh?

As long as all the cams/crank marks line up properly you should be fine. Just triple check all those markings.

Ok will do. Is it possible that the tensioner is not functioning properly and my belt is able to move? I really can't think of a reason it would even move after setting it and aliging everything. Without a reference how would I know if it has moved a tooth?

Use the same reference that you used to line them up. The marks on the belt are just meant to confirm the right timing. There are marks someplace else that are to be used to setting the timing. Check the BGB, I have not done a timing belt on a 5vz personally.
