Hi I'm new!

Just want to say hello to yotatech.

I just bought a '99 4Runner SR5 V6 today, everything is bone stock. What a truck! I used to own a 89 Pathfinder 3.0 V6 (2-door hardbody), it was nice but was in horrible shape and she died. Some of my buddies recommended a 4Runner for a replacement so I pretty much went with it.

Tires are at 50% when I bought her, so here's my first question: will 33" tires fit on stock height?

Cheers.

Welcome to the T4R world and yotatech. Unless you have a total oddball question chances are the search tab is your greatest bet. Don't feel bad about reviving a 5 year old thread, We all do it. Funny part is half of us never even realize it.

You can fit 32's at stock height. 265/75/16 or alternative size (my personal choice) 235/85/16.

Love kimbaps, too.

Looks very clean! The '99s have the tallest springs of the 3rd generation 4runners by the way. Looks like you've got a good stock stance. Did ya get a 4x4?

Welcome to YT

Sold an 87 4Runner to a Toronto Fireman last month and he flew down and drove it back. Actually now wearing the Toronto Fire Dept shirt he brought me.

I must agree......that's a Clean looking rig! 33's will not fit without some sort of lift, but Toytec lifts has some great options for 3rd Gen 4Runners! You can get a budget lift for around 400 - 500 bucks! I'd go with a 2.5" - 3" suspension lift, and then a 1 inch body lift.....then you should be able to clear 33" tires!
