HELP! Need inexpensive reputable Welder in the Seattle area?
I'm just gonnna throw this one out there cus I need help in finding a welder to weld up my sliders. I've phoned and went to several locations pricing the job and 95/hr is like robbery for me considering I have other projects. My good friend who usually does my welding projects for me is in the Police Academy right now or that would be my hook up. I want to get the legs of the sliders welded up before I bring em in for Powder coating. Any suggestions? I've only been finding commercial and mass production welders...frustrating.
Cheers, james w.

Most shops charge around the $100 mark. That said a good shop, good welder, shouldn't take very long. I'm in the interior of BC (and a welder) and would do it if you're ever in my neck of the woods. You're needs are not diffcult even for a rookie welder. Check with a tech school they will usually do it for free.

Thanks guys for all the insight. I understand that good and cheap don't normally go hand in hand for a quality job. I am meticulous about the work others do on my Runner, I do most myself...was just trying to save some chips.
