I tried giveing it gas made it worse so i compleatly let off the gas then got back on the gas an it ran good on my way home it did this right past a couple cops that were at a wreck this time it was more hit and miss than before. what would cause this to happen??

new parts are Plugs, wires, cap, rotor around a 1000 miles ago and i just replaced the fuel filter yesterday

Is there an internal gas tank fuel filter as well?

Also.... was it wet out by any chance?
