Another S/C is in!
Install went pretty well, the directions are very well done and easy to follow. I was getting some pinging with the amaco 93 I had in the truck but last fillup I got chevron and it seems to like that better. I changed the plugs after doing a can of seafoam and they didn't look too bad, but they were pretty new. I had them changed at FireStone that I know pretty well, but the dumbazzes aparently didn't see the sticker that says only use double tip plugs. :pat: no wonder it was idling a little rough! anyway... Made a little video, sorry about the quality, thought it would be a little better than that. I'll have to re-compress...

Isn't yotatech great! It does such a good job of telling you what you could get, and oh... if only I had this... Oh well... what are you going to do
Filthy,
I did a load of seafoam before the install, so hopefully that will offset the s/c SOME with the mpg, it was already crap so I'm not really expecting much. Smoking ricers is what its all about. Thats one of the main reasons why I wanted it.
UBoat,
Its funny... I bet most people just think I have a bad alternator or something (which did for a while about a year ago... haha) but the wine is pretty rediculous... I think TRD was plotting to cover up the pinging with a loud s/c!! haha... just kidding...

Thanks boys!
Graham,
Already have the injectors and smaller pulley... all I need now is the bigger fuel pump and computer and I'm down. I will be adding fuel mods within the next two months. I don't like running my engine so lean....
Plus, its an extra 30-40hp! I will probably end up putting them in, in raleigh. There are no shops around here with a dyno and Jayson knows a few around him and he also knows how to do everything (not that its hard, but its always nicer to have done it before) I'll keep you posted though!

Local dyno
Austin- I don't know if you're looking for a dyno near Asheville or Savannah, but if you're looking for one near Asheville check out www.riderevolution.com They're in Johnson City, Tennessee which is only about an hour away from Asheville via the new I-26. Just a thought.
