i sold one of cars, but when i gave the guy the keys to the car i think my Toyota truck key went along as well, i called him to see if he or if the key to my truck was there on the keychain, he said nope no key.

DAMN!

its an 88 toyota , it was only one key to start and open the truck, can i get a locksmith to make me one? or???????....

 

You can go to the dealer and have them make you one, just need to give them you're VIN and ID.
Not sure about the locksmith though. Give 'em a call

 

My girlfriends dad is a lock smith and he made me a key without having any to copy, in fact he did it faster than the key copier machine at the hardware store could have made a simple copy.

 

The key code is normally etched on the key tumblers on the doors. If you don't have access to the inside, then this info won't help you much.

Did you ever get a key? Same thing happened to me, 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser, lost the key and it's locked. Rather than call a lock smith I'd like to get a dealer issued key but they said it's probably too old to get now.

 

If you go to the dealer they can make you a key if you have the key code. it's on the passenger side lock cylinder.

 

And he's going to access that how? It's locked.


There's an answer of course. Every tow truck driver carries one.
