ive decided to put 2 inch coils on my truck

i already have a 4 inch suspension lift

exactly how much more lift will 2 inch coils give me? just 2 inches, or more than that? it would be really nice if i could get this 4runner huge

what i really want is to fit BFG 35's

any information about coils would be nice because i dont have a clue what they are, i just know its better than a body lift.

you already have 4" coils in the rear (im assuming you have the PC kit). you can crank your t-bars about 1", add a spacer to the rear coils and get a 2" body lift and youll clear 35s great.

theyre wrong.

you have torsion bars in the front, coils in the rear.

you can get stiffer torsion bars and crank them up for more lift (1-2") and you can get a rear spacer for more lift (1-2").

just out of curiosity, what coils were you thinking?

 

i have no idea what i was thinking, thats why i got on here and asked for help.

all i know is some people said i could do it. oh well, body lifts arent that much either.

(i dont even know how to change my oil) but dont think im some lazy pig, i want to know, but nobody will show me, ive asked before.

id like to know how to do my own brakes too, but all i know how to do is drive.

Front brakes are a snap. I just did my dads brakes on his '92 Toyota pickup. I think it took a whole hour to do. Real simple.

What part of Puyallup are you located?
I'm in the middle of building a house out in Graham (224th). I spend alot of time at Lowes picking up supplies. I'll keep an eye out for ya

 

Stick a 2" body lift on and you should be able to 35's under it. Your original 4" lift replaces the coils that's how the back get's lifted so NO I wouldn't get 2" lift coils unless you want to lower it

 

well i was dumb and i meant to say coil "spacers" i guess. does that work better??

oh and i live right in the middle of south hill puyallup. you know that 7-11 on 128th and Meridian? i live down the street. if you really want to see my truck, next time you're on your way to lowe's drive through that parking lot behind the keg and burger king between 9:30 am - 1:30 am.

you could put a 2 inch coil spacer from daystar and crank the t bars a bit. you could maybe fit 35s then. more than likely, you will have to get a bodylift. to fit those tires.

 

well, at least itll be bigger, and THATS a good start

i can at least get 33's. i could fit them anyway, but i like being able to see all that space between the tire and the body and im afraid 33's will take up that space.
