Hella Micro DE's Installed.. OEM Fogs For Sale!

So I got my Hella Micro DE's installed, but I haven't got the HID's installed yet. Right now I've got silverstar Ultra's in them, and they are pretty bright. I'll get some night shots up as soon as I can. If you're interested in my OEM fogs, shoot me a PM.

Are the hellas better than the stock Fogs that come on the Runner?

Do you have HIDS in your Headlights now? If so where you get them at and how are they?

Yeah these are way better than the stock OEM fogs, I only got them because you can't fit HID's in the OEM fogs. I've got some CNlight QB(Dark Blue) HID's in my headlights, and I got them from this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f109...un-2-a-134321/

I was thinking around $45, that includes the wiring, brackets, fogs, and everything.

Please post some night shots Brain. I have been itching to get the the same setup but was worried about the part numbers and what not. Can you tell me the exact part number of the Micro Hella DE's you bought???
Is it this...HL74560....because those are the ones that I was thinking of getting in the future. Also, what does it come with? Was the install pretty simple as a swap? Thanks for answering my questions.

I got mine from right here: http://www.yellowandbluelighting.com...a/Default.aspx

For night shots visit this thread, pfdaxe posted some and I'll post some ASAP. I want to get my HID's installed first.

But anyways the install wasn't to hard, it was just annoying because your laying on your back the whole time and my arms got pretty tired.

Fo... I am a little confused. I have an 02 4R as well and have the Micro DE's installed after the fact as mine were not installed from the factory. I bought these because they were Oe replacement. Why does your post say OEM fog lights for sale? By looking at the post title......it seems like you put these Hellas in and you replaced the OEM fogs and now they are for sale. Isn't that what was in there in the first place?? If not, what are the OEM fogs that you are selling and how are they better than the ones you are replacing?

If you read the link above your post, you will see that the Hellas are dealer installed. The OEM are not Hellas. You can fit a larger HID bulb into the Hellas. This is why Fo_Sheezy did the swap The Hellas are replacements but made by a different company...

Here's the link again that should answer your question:

No...you would have to mod the brackets. You would need the 4Runner specific Hellas:

hey brian, do you have any night shots of where the beams are aimed? i'm looking for a picture of where the beam should lay on the ground for when i do the project and make the spacers so they are angled in the right direction. thanks!

also, has anyone ever replaced the H3 bulb in this style with a yellow fog light element? and if so, what brand did you use? i'm looking on ebay and most of the stuff is "high quality" at $6, sorry but i don't trust that. Luminics is on there and that's what you had in there before Brian but in blue, how did you like them?

just trying to find a quality and functional yellow fog light.

Here's an old shot, you can see the light output, but it's not that bright because I put some luminics pure blue H3's in there so it reduced the light a lot, but they looked cool. For yellow H3's, check out this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/h...-bulbs-140966/
