Does anyone know if there is a difference between the brackets that come in the Hella Fog Lamp kit for the 99 - 02 4Runners and the ones that are the toyota factory brackets? I only ask because when my car was repaired after a wreck, the body shop replaced both of my Hella Fog lamp brackets with the ones from the toyota and like the fog lamps don't shine onto the road anymore...surprising that the fog lamp didn't break on impact to the guard rail.

 

They should be the same thing. My wife has a 99 now, and I just went to look at them. There is an adjustment screw right next to the light. Its on a 45 deg ang with a spring behind. That is the screw that does the height.
