I have a 97 Tacoma 4x4 Sr5 that I recently just replaced the Sealed headlights with a set of Sylvania Silver Star (Sealed). Headlights worked fine before I swapped them but now after the swap when I turn on the headlights the high-beam indicator turns on in the dash and the headlights are not working. The only way I can get anything to turn on is if I flash the brights (pulling the headlight switch twords the driver). Parking lights, Tail lights, and interior lights are all good. One thing that I noticed is if I flash the high beams with the switch in the off or parking lights position my relay under the hood starts making a buzzing sound. Is the relay bad? Any Ideas?

I re-checked all the connections that I unplugged but I am not sure what is going on. My brother has a 03 Tacoma and he said that his truck does not have the buzzing sound as described above with the Headlight Relay. Does anyone know if the relays are interchangeable between years I may just go get one from the wrecking yard Monday morning. Also would it be beneficial to use my brothers Relay as a test in my 97?
