hey all i was just wondering what i SHOULD be paying for port and polishing
and what a head rebuild and resurface costs?

Well umm, gee that depends on :

Who does the headwork
How much power is expected out of the headwork
What parts are needed
How the head work is accomplished (hand ported vs cnc vs machined)

Look on LC engineering, DOA, and Engbldr. THose prices are what you should be paying, because those are reputable places and if you look, they all cost around the same....coincidence?....... If Crazy Bob's Toyota Ranch has head porting for 3 easy payments of $19.95 you can go right ahead, but then you have a $60 port & polish..... Also you should get a valve job at the same time.
