Hey, what's up? I have a 2001 Runner, and it's been sonding weird when I try to start it lately. I know what a dead battery sounds like, and that's not it, it has plenty of juice, but it allmost like skips when it tries to crank, the noise is hard to describe. Basically, it sounds like it only tries to start it every other time, instead of hearing the usual crank, and then when it starts, it comes on really slow, and doesn't just fire right up.

The truck has 90k miles, and this is the first real problem. I think it might be the starter contacts, but I'm not sure, just wanted to see if you guys had any input before I pull it apart. Thanks,
