Funny you should ask. I was just looking at them in the Performance Products catalogue this morning over breakfast. I hear that they are great, but I am not sure if I am ready to spend $700 on new headlights.
Hopefully someone can chime in and tell us how wonderful they are.

I'm running Philips OEM 4100k HID lights in my stock housings. I have tried and experimented with several companies and kelvin ratings and the OEM 4100k with GOOD shielding is by far the best. The 2 best sites to buy because of their reputation for quality and service is www.autolamps-online.com and www.suvlights.com.
I got mine from suvlights.com because I liked the shielding on the H4. The color and usable like it identical to the Lexus HIDs.

I have Bellof HIDs on my truck. I think they're Spark Whites or something. I'm not too sure about the name but they're 5000K.
BTW, the 96-98 headlights have a nicer beam pattern than the MSR 99+ headlights and less glare as well (with HIDs)

I have done this. I have the kit from HIDkits.com? I think that was the place. I got mine used for about 150 dollars. I love them. I Intalled the 2000+ headlight housings too. The beam pattern kinda sucks, just not as focused as the stock Halogen setup, I think it has something to do with the filaments. As in HIDS don't have one. In the fog it seems my lights are pointed upwards. I think I may need to re-aim them. But the light output is AWESOME! I would never change it. Do I think it's worth 400-700? NO! but since I got them used for super cheap, I am very pleased.
