Well after looking high and low for another 4Runner for the last 2 months (my 99 i gave to my father in law in cabo of which i sincerely miss that one on a daily basis), any way ive been looking high and low to find another 98-01 4runner 5spd v6 4x4.
Well i finally found it yesterday and i could'nt be happier. Its a 98 4Runner v6 4x4 5spd with factory locker and a sunroof with tan leather and dark green exterior with 120k miles. Still rides extremely tight. Its got all original body panels, nothing has ever been painted or messed with - one owner - mint. Anyway, i gave it a real good looking over, checked compression on all 6 cylinders which they all came in at 190-195 psi all around, all fluids look normal, original brakes, clutch, everything - im like a kid in a candy store.
So now starts the fun part - time to perform the transformation...saws, ome 891's rear, new bfg's, custom roof basket to hold my eezi awn roof tent, custom made prerunner style front bar for my baja lights, sound, ...fun fun fun..
