Grease fitting/Zerk broke on LBJ

Like the subject says. Most of the zerk's threaded section is inside the threaded port on the lower ball joint.

Any nifty tricks to retrieve this guy?

They're usually not turned in too tight.

An easy-out will generally remove the butt easily.

No drilling , the hole for the easy-out is already there.

Where theres room, I've got them out using the tang of a small file.

A file isnt a bad idea. I'll try it.

I'll have to go get a small easy-out, otherwise

MAN! Thanks for the inspiration! I ended up using a pick. Since there was a jagged edge where it sheared off I was able to feel for it with the pick and turn it back until I coul use my fingers.

Brand new BJ,I was ready to pout.

Cheers!

When you are looking for a replacement, don't forget that metric and American zirk threads are different.
