I got side swiped tonight by somebody trying to get from the lane on my right to the lane on my left. He was trying to make a light. The damage it did was made a big crack in my primary light and pushed my bumper 1 in to the left and bent it a little. I dont know if I need a new bumper yet. The bad part is that the car didnt stop but I think the car got damaged worst. I couldnt get the tag.

 

and you didn't chase his ass???

 

A little but I lost him. I think it was a ford focus.

I had my 4runner for only 2 weeks when my friend's mom rear ended me at a red light in her Ford F350 super duty. A rear bumper, bumper corner, and step pad was nearly $600, but thats new parts.:cry:

 

Be sure to call the cops. Even though you don't have the info...there may have been other witnesses...

 

And you could give them the car make, model, color, and if they see one with a lot of left side damage, it could be them. You don't need the plate sometimes.

Edit: Forgot to say sorry to hear that. Having your baby damaged is the opposite of fun. I felt like when my Jag got ran into.

 

...especially if you were close to home - depending on how big the street was, near residential, etc, etc...
