Those are definitely the same style as the ones from Wheeler's, which have a 3.75" backspacing. I didn't know Tech 1 made a rim in that style. Probably not a big deal, but you may want to double check and see just exactly what you received. They look good either way.

No gay pride stripe on the Tech 1's!
That is possible. At the time they called me, I was at work and I was busy, so I was in a rush to get off the phone. The guy told me the price was the same and the only difference between the rims was the circle holes instead of the D-shaped ones. I said fine, just send them. I'll have to check the boxes again. I think they said Tech1 on them. The receipt only has part numbers on it.

But thanks for the warm welcome into the club
I plan on painting the weights, the drums, and the rear bumper black when the weather get warmer. Then it's time to fab up a new rear hitch that isn't so low to the ground.

Correction

Oops, you are right they aren't tech1 rockcrawlers. I just looked at one of the boxes and it said in tiny writing, "Rockcrawlers by ProComp" :pat:

They are 4.25" backspacing though.

Sorry about that. Wish I could change the subject line of the thread now.

They are steel and black, and that is ALL that matters!

Hey TStango,

Where did you order those rims from? I am looking for a set of black rockcrawlers, but with a little more backspacing than 3.75" (which is the most the Tech 1's offer in a 15x8 rim). Thanks-

Two places to check:

4WheelParts

Wheeler's Off-road

Good luck!

I ordered them from 4wheelparts.com. I ordered tech 1's originally and they called me to tell me these would clear the calipers better.
