When you do get it painted, get them to hit your rear bumper and license plate surround. It shouldn't cost much more for that.

In a couple of months when you get the flares and paint, you won't recognize your runner. Also, DEFINITELY get the IPF 900's for driving lights. They fit perfect and are 130W each! Good job!
Wow..Thanks everybody for the props!!

I dont think we'll be losing the chrome grill..likely just getting an updated one... Still debating the rear bumper...Licence plate surround is peeling all nasty, so it's getting done anyways.

When I ever do this, I think I'LL actually do it myself. I'm up for a challenge!

About the IPF 900's.....if I remember correctly they aren't in the newer ARB catalog..Discontinued? HID's would be AWE$OME!

Brian, you mentioned fabbing up new brackets.... Do you have the occordian looking brackets like on the Sahara? I wonder how difficult/costly that would be? Wanna make 2 sets??!?!

when you do lift it up and have the brackets made you still want to leave at least an inch gap in there. while it may look nicer with no gap, the gap will do you some good in case you ever take a hit.

On my TJM, when I first put it on, there was no gap and it took a hit, it bent that little piece of metal under the drivers headlamp .. not a big deal .. but a 1" gap would have prevented that.

You and bamachem have the same bumper and mine and his mount using quite different brackets, but perhaps when I tackle the project he'll let me use his brackets as a guinea pig!
