Thumbs up good deal on Warn M8000 right now

In the latest issue of Peterson's 4-wheel magazine the "4-wheel parts" ad shows a price of $499 for a Warn M8000 winch with a Hawse fairlead. Anyway, they said in the store it was a misprint, but after giving them a hard time about it they honored the price.

Just figured I'd pass it along in case anyone else is looking for one, as now might be a good time. Now I just need a TJM bumper and I will be cooking with gas.

You can get them in the mid-$400's + shipping (about $500-520 total) all day long on ebay...

Gumbo- Yea I will get you something on how I did it, stand by for it.

Most places seem to be selling the M8000 for $599 or more right now, although I'm sure there are places that you can get it for less but I shopped around a lot and that was the cheapest I could find. I have been watching ebay for them and they aren't going for $450 anymore. The cheapest on there right now is $490 plus $50 shipping.

It's actually misleading they say $499 and free shipping what that translates into is $499 plus a $30 crating fee so it's still $530 dollars which is still a fair deal.

So, only $11 cheaper than eBay... Every little bit helps I guess...

That and I didn't have to deal with the hassle of Ebay, I prefer buying things locally when I can. Just personal preference. To each their own.

Talking Best deal I've seen

I got an ARB and a M8000 for $800 cash w/ no shipping and the M8000 was already installed...I don't think you can beat that but $499 sounds good for a M8000 as the local shop here sells them for $795 w/ a fair lead. I definitely love my winch and the deal I go on it!

Keep an eye on 4wheelparts.com, every couple of months they put their winches on sale, usually they have the M8000 for 450 with free shipping.

I made a small write-up on how I installed my sliders.

Located here under off road tech:

You got an M8000 with two hooks, tow strap, AND synthetic line for $530 or was the syn line added later?

yeah I did a group buy here on yotatech for the synth line when I got my winch .. it was about $110 for 100 ft of 3/16th. The synth line comes with rock gaurd, as well as a lifetime warranty on that.
