At first I thought is was a good deal. Until I saw the 4-cyl. The S/C is great but I imagine it is even better with the 3.4L.

 

You have a lot of options. Like Pozi said, s/c is great but a 3.4 would make it better. Does it have a locking diff?

Check out Craigslist before you hit the dealers. This is what I found from a few quick searches:

Not too many in Austin but shop around and you'll find what you want. Are you going to lift it? If you find one with a lift already installed you'll save yourself a lot of grief. Wish I went that route. Good luck-

 

Sounds like adecent deal though, although you could do cheaper, it sounds alright, check kbb.com (kelly blue book) to see what the value of that truck with those options is. I looked on there and it says suggested retail value based on a 2002 Short Bed Single Cab SR5 4WD (I guessed on options) suggested retail is $14, 370. But thats not accounting for the S/C or anything.

 

You guys are right.. I guess I'll keep my 4Runner and look at getting a Scion tC for a commuter. I want to stay Toyota and I probably don't need two truck based vehicles.

 

Id probably take the 4-cyl right now and take the super charger off with gas prices...
