Going with a Flowmaster, should I go dual?

I've decided to get a Delta 40 Flowmaster for my 3rd gen. Can someone tell me the positives and negatives of modding it to be a dual exhaust vs. stock? Thanks.

my first question is "have you heard a FM 40?" those things are pretty loud at idle and even while cruising on the freeway.

Loud and throaty is what I'm looking for. My truck just got lifted a total of 6" and it didn't seem right for her to be so quiet when she looked so mean. I just want it to sound as bad as it looks. Any hints and tips to do this, I'll take them. Thanks again guys.

Positive: looks good, nice for a "street queen".

Negative: extra cost, would have ground clearance and fittment issues, stupid for off roading, not functional.

I have the 40 series single in and dual out. I've heard that it doesn't really sound different with the single out, but I just love the look of the twin pipes commin outta the corners. It is pretty loud for a toyota, but compared to a fullsize truck with a V8 it really isnt much.

I have the 40 series on my T100....after a good weekend of wheeling I now have nothing coming out of the muffler. That's right kido's It's cut right behind the muffler. I welded some turn-downs on so that I don't boil my diff fluid, but you can't see anything but you can sure hear it in the cab more now.
