there's this 85 runner on autotrader, it's towards va beach but I'm kinda tempted to go test drive it what do you guys think?

 

Take the light bar off the top and paint it something else besides school bus yellow and you got a nice rig.

the lightbar is fine, and the yellow.. um icould live with it, although defiantely not my first color choice

 

i like the yellow and black combo

 

even 4000 seems kinda high, wonder if I could talk him down below that.. looks like there's a little rust right above the rear wheel too. being around the beach area I wouldn't be surprised if it has even more rust.

I'll bet it has stock gears, which would be 4.10's I guess? moving 33's and steel rims might be hard for the 22re if it's not geared for the tires,.

this is the first 85 with the 22re that I've seen on autotrader or anything in this area in a loooooong time, geez gotta find the time to go check it out.

 

Kinda high price like you said, but worth a look.

If anyone is seriously interested in an '85, the Canadian Autotrader has them alot more often.
