you're not the same guy from Houston-Imports.com are you??

http://www.houston-imports.com/forum...hlight=4runner

this guy bought a 2nd gen s/c from don mcgill for $900, but it didnt come with the auto tensioner or installation stuff.

what came with your s/c? is it 1st or 2nd gen, champion Toyota was selling the 1gen grey s/c for $1000.

btw, I'm a college student too.
90 4unner with trd s/c

Good pick, and good luck with whatever you are gonna do with that car, just make sure to be safe.

As someone said before, you didn't seem like the truck person. Here, people don't install S/C's for speed, but more for fun and off-roading capability.

I myself like to test my car under the limits of what it's meant to run. IE if it's meant to do a track lap @ 2:30 without drifting, then I will drive it so for fun and not try to push 2:10 just to waste a whole set of SUV tires everytime I go to the track if you know what I mean .

your links down work.

is it from Top Speed Pro 1 in dallas?
they make some pretty good stuff.

we had HKS sport exhaust on our mr-s turbo. then changed it to the top secret japan exhaust.

it handled like it was on rails.

For the luva gawd...have you sold the 4Runner yet? I hope so. 4Runners aren't sport cars -- stop treating it like one and get it in the hands of someone who will appreciate it for what it is.

My concept for a "4Runner Rescue" business is sounding like a better opportunity every day. Sweet jeebus...
