Hello, i'm new to the forum.: (Disel Swap!!!!) Has anyone outhere heard of or seen this done yet? Was this an option on 4Runners at some point? I know Toyota used to make disel trucks, do they still make them? I know it would be a load of work and $$$ but still want to know if it has been done. Its always about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

 

it's been done before. in fact, there's a shop somewhere in Houston, Texas that does the job.

There's a thread somewhere here in yotatech about it.

many have done it themselves.. just buying the front clip and doing a little research here and there

 

Thanks for the info, I'll continue to search for more info. Huston is a long hall from Mass,although I do have family there, it would be a good excuse for a visit. But an extra VK is not in the cards. Hows the wether in the Philippines this time of year?

Thanks MTL I will take a look at these.As for a missplled word ones abality to rember some things changes after bing struck in the by a log which is what happen to me on the job.thanks to the injury I have problems with a few things.This isn't a sob story just a fact. Its apparent pepole knew what i ment.( Its not what you say but how it is said or not said)
