You know, I guess it just depends on what you like better...
I love my blue LEDs, and I don't think they are ricer at all.
In my opinion, white has a more classy/luxury feel to it and blue has a sportier feel.
For example, white LEDs would go better w/ a woodgrain dash and blue would go better w/ the silver dash.

this is a pretty good thread....I am thinking of going with amber for the interior...and maybe the amber rock lights from Roundeyes for the under side of my rig. I am thinking if i do the rock lights I will do two switches, one to enable the feature of having the rocklights come on when you unlock your rig so you can see where you are stepping (ya know the timed light feature like on the key ring that comes on for about 30 seconds or so when you hit the unlock button) and one to run them constant when wheeling.

yea It should? Should look like a clear ring around where you put in the ignition key...maybe you got a burnt out bulb...I love mine, Its nice to see where the key hole is.
page 3 of this thread, post 69 shows it very clearly!

On mine the ring around the key isn't clear, its black plastic.
When I pry off the black plastic around the ignition keyring I see the clear ring underneath. Thats weird...
The bulb seems to be out as well. Maybe the local dealership can hook me up with a clear cover to replace my black one... Without it being something like $30
I'm gonna use superbrightleds.com seems to be the overall cheaper than autolumination.

Hey I was just thinking...I was riding in my uncles tacoma the other day and his truck has the amber lighting stock. Does anyone know if the clock from that model tacoma (2002 ish) will work in my 98 4runner? It would be sweet to have the clock match when I do the amber led's.

Nice, what bulbs did you use? I see some hot spots in the picture, how bad are they in real life? Can you dim them? Are they too bright (yeah i know, i am the last one that should be saying that)

Haha yeah the 2 has a really bad hot spot, and the 90, 100, 110. They are the 74 bulbs, I was disappointed because I thought they were 194's. But I am very pleased. I used these bulbs right here:

How bad are the spots really? just there? or makes it hard to see the rest of the numbers bad?
