I knew something might have been wrong in the tank when I went to install it. Now it's registering full the entire time, and I know it's at a half tank. It sucks to know that I have to take it out again, but I couldn't really determine what it was binding on in there. Probably the plastic thing. At any rate, I don't think I'm going to mess with it until I have my new tank installed with my spare tire area. Then I'll swap the fuel pump assembly into the new tank, instead of having to do it twice. Oh well!
