Gas mileage

Went on a trip this weekend and checked my milage. Normally I get around 18 on the highway. This weekend I got as much as 22.5mpg. All I did differently was inflate my tires up to 35psi in the rear and 32psi front from 30psi all around. What a difference. Anyone else check their mileage with different pressures?

Did you notice that your ride got a bit more bumpy when you had the PSI pumped up?

Actually, the ride was smoother than before although to get to where we were camping required 1/2 mile of off-road, that was rougher than before.

Question How to get better mileage?

Better Mileage? Good question. If I want to get better mileage I just let my wife drive. She always gets 2-3 mpg better than I do.

Yeah, when I took that picture they had not come in from the dealership yet. They are on now!
