Elevation - 5230 feet.....
Yep, that's the elevation where I live. I awoke to snow this morning and was elated while driving to work at 6:15. I always start up my 4Runner, set the defrost/heat switch, turn on the parking lights, and then go back inside to pour my coffee. After about 5 to 10 minutes I get in and head off to work. Nothing like the feeling of total security driving your 4Runner in inclimate weather knowing that no matter how much snow is dumped you will still be able to get around. As it turned out it snowed all day and is still snowing as I type this. I'll be watching the Avalanche game tonight and looking forward to waking up tomorrow morning and doing it all over again. I love seeing people in their cars or 2WD trucks spinning out and stuck in a drift.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

I agree, let it snow!
I live a little higher than you, though. I'm at 7000', but I am further south. There is a good dusting up on the ski hill, but nothing is sticking here in town. Soon, I hope...
