Question Gas gauge 1/4 off

I installed my new indiglo gauges and everythng looks good but my gas gauge is off 1/4 tank or more. Does anyone know how to re-calibrate it or any comments would help. I did a search and DUB has the same problem I think but I really cant figure it out. Anything will help so let me know.

I say better get used to it. Mine is the same way. kinda annoying esp. when the empty tank lights up when it shows 1/4 tank left! but oh well, I am used to it now, and can guage how much is remaining

You are going to have to screw with the sender unit, which is going to take a MCSE to accomplish. I would return the gauges back to stock and see if the fuel indication returns to normal. If it does, you know the indiglo gauges are the root cause. In that case, you are just going to have to live with it or return it to stock.

If yours are the lay-over-the dash like my crappy ones are, then I might suggest using a drill to widen the holes, and then maybe try double sided tape. or something that will make it stick in place.

what a waste of money those first mods were! shoulda been saving up for the SAS!
