Fuel Rail removal

Ok, just to get things straight. The pressure regulator is located on the fuel rail, closest to the firewall. The fuel pulse thing (offical name would be appreciated) is on the end of the fuel rail closest to cylinder #1 and it is reverse threaded. None of the bolts seem to want to budge and I don't want to crank on it in the wrong direction.

pulsation dampener

there is a bolt connecting the fuel hose to the delivery pipe. take that off remove hose from delivery pipe. you need a pretty big wrench.
there are two bolts i think that hold the delivery pipe to the intake manifold.

Are you talking about this pipe?

I don't remember anything having left-hand threads on this fuel rail.

You usually only see reverse threads on things that are spinning, like the cooling fan.

Thanks for the info. I figured it out this afternoon. There is nothing on the fuel rail that has reverse threads. The bolts required a 22mm wrench and a 17mm wrench from front to back respectively.
