Fuel Guage Problem!

Hey, I got a quick question for everyone. My fuel guage has started operating a little weird in the past few months. It will actually never go below the one-quarter mark. Once it approaches the one-quarter mark the low fuel light will come on and it will stay around the one-quarter mark until I run out of gas. Any thoughts?

Mine just started doing something similar. It has GOT to be related to cold weather. Sometimes I can start the car and the needle can be laying flat on the bottom and the light blinking. Can take out the key, put it back in and it would show correctly. Then it would show like 3/4 full when I know it should be showing 1/4 but then the needle very slowly (30min) crawls back to 1/4.

I was eyeing jerry cans after this
