Just order mine: and I will do it my self. Once finished, I'll write a report.

Stay tuned.

Thanks,

I did rear springs, shocks, front struts, diff drop and some routine brake maintenance in just over 4hrs yesterday.

Delays were the rusted rear upper shock mounts but luckily, the p/s one sheared off right under the bolt head in 3 mins so that was a great break.

Could have done it quicker but took care of some other stuff at the same time.

Wrapped up this morning having to replace a front wheel stud which took around an hour.

Got my shocks done today! sorry no pic since my digi cam died out after the first shot.

Thanks for all the help from the forums. I did notice substantial improvement over the worn stock shocks. The ride is not bumpy at all. I love it especially when I curved over the bumps at hwy speed (Hwy 24, Oakland, CA)

If you don't want to cut them off then use a ratchet to hold the top and a strap wrench to turn the shock body. It takes alot of work (esp if they are rusty), but it will eventually come off.

The stud is welded to the shock body, so no, it won't.
