Front clip convesion?

I have performed a 4runner front end swap on a 91 truck, but now that I have a 96 tacoma(with the square headlights...) I would like to know how difficult it would be to put on the front end with the composite headlights and the vertical bar grille...like in the 02 and up models. I believe I will have to buy a new hood, but other than that the usual stuff like the headlights, corner lights and grille should all fit.....besides a little "massaging" here and there......right?

I believe it will work, the contours of the fillers underneath the headlights are the same, and the fenders are the same..I believe just the hood is different..

Alright I found a place here in GA that sells crash parts to the public.....I will need a hood, headlights, corner lights, grille, radiator support, bumper, valance panel, and the small fillers under the headlights.....grand total before tax is 450 bucks...not bad!!! I haven't had this truck long, so this will be my first mod to it.

the core support is different as far as headlight and grill mounting go.

I am getting funds together and am at a crossroads...I am pretty mechanically inclined and a good fabricator..will the fenders work, or will I have to "make them work" for the mounting of the corner of the headlights and corner lights?

How are things going for you Project91? Are things fitting as planned or is there a lot of massaging going on?

From: Yotatech, because Pirate is too expensive. NorCal.
Try www.customtacos.com and www.yotascene.com. They are lowered truck guys but make awesome show quality stuff. They do alot of front end swaps, I know I have seen a couple like what your trying to do.
