fresh air problem? 4th gen

I can't get the ventilation unit to vent in fresh air without seeming to warm it up somewhat. I'll open the window and put my hand outside, and the outside air is much cooler than what comes thru my vents. I have the fan on, the A/C off, the thermostat set on "Lo", and the air recirculation button is not lit (meaning interior air isn't being recirculated). So what's the deal? Anyone else having this problem? I'm getting tired of breathing A/C-cooled air, and shouldn't have to when its 65 degrees outside.

Yes, it does heat it up somewhat. Even if it has been parked in the shade. If I crank up the fan a bit on mine I bearly notice it.

you know what i noticed? if i put the vents to either blow on the windsheild, or the windshield and my feet (the top two settings in my sr5), it blows out a/c!

it actually turns the a/c on (without the button being illuminated) and blows out ice cold air.... very frustrating in the winter!

I just checked again last night, it seems on mine it only blows some warmer air initially. After about 2 min of driving the air cools down without the A/C blowing. One thing to watch for is that it switches on the recirculate automaticaly if there is a big difference between cabin and outside temp. So always check it if you just want cool air to come in from the outside.
