Found a sensor that I think should be in the motor.... What is this?!?!
Um.... I'm bolting all the pieces back to my rebuilt 22re and I found a sensor.... well more of a vent it seems... Another item that I need to find a home for. But, the problem is that I think the engine shop closed up the hole it's supposed to go in. Here's a picture: .
I think it goes on the driver side toward the rear. What does it do and how important is it.
Thanks!
Steve

Thanks QIKRUNR! I think the fuel rail might be the right call. I'll have to go find it's home.
2wd1stGen: It can't be a sensor because it doesn't have any wires going to it.
